I have spent 9+ years leading Analytics, Business Strategy and AI at Flipkart, PharmEasy, Pilgrim, Mu Sigma and now FabHotels. Building teams, data systems and decisions that actually move business numbers, not slide decks.
One thing became clear across all of it: most analysts understand data well. Very few know how to apply AI to it in a way that drives real business outcomes. That gap, between knowing about AI and actually using it on Monday morning, is the entire problem worth solving.
The AI Way is my way of closing it. A learning platform for working analysts and BI professionals to go beyond reading about AI and actually ship workflows that save them 4 hours a week.
What I specialise in
Where I write
Teaching
I teach a 3-hour live class for working BI and data analysts called the Champion Sprint. We build three AI workflows together against a real Postgres database: an automated weekly report, a Slack bot that answers ad-hoc questions, and a data health check that catches bad numbers before they reach leadership.
Saturday cohorts. Small live class. ₹1,499 Early-Bird. The point is not to learn about AI. The point is to ship three working systems by 1 PM the same day.
Why I keep the class live (and small)
Every analyst I talk to is being told the same thing by their manager. "Use more AI. Move faster. Do not get left behind." Nobody tells them what that actually means on Monday morning. So they open ChatGPT, paste a SQL query, get a generic answer back, and quietly close the tab. The pressure stays. The progress does not.
Most AI courses for analysts are pre-recorded, generic, and demo-grade. Toy datasets, gnarly bits skipped, workflows that never survive a real warehouse. People watch them, feel productive for 40 minutes, and never ship anything.
A live class fixes three things a pre-recorded one cannot.
Your specific stuck-point gets unstuck.
n8n credential misconfigured. Slack scope wrong. Postgres returning a weird type. You raise your hand, I look at your screen, we fix it in 3 minutes. In a recording, that question dies in a YouTube comment.
The pace is set by real humans, not a timeline.
If half the cohort is confused about why the SQL agent needs a clarify gate, we slow down. If everyone is flying, we accelerate. A recording cannot read the room.
You actually ship.
Completion rate for self-paced online courses is below 15%. For a 3-hour live Saturday with a real instructor and a small cohort, above 90%. The format is the unlock, not the content.
Small cohort matters too. If a class has 200 people, you cannot get a question answered. If it has 8 to 15, everyone gets seen. Everyone gets their workflow debugged. Nobody hides at the back.
Cannot make it on the day? One free reschedule to any future cohort, no questions. You also get the walkthrough deck PDF so you can revisit the material on your own time.

A short FAQ
Why did you start The AI Way?
Most AI courses for analysts are taught by people who do not have an analyst job. The examples are toy datasets, the workflows do not survive contact with a real warehouse, the questions a VP would ask never get answered. I built the class I wished existed when I was the one trying to learn.
Are you actually still doing BI work full time?
Yes. I run a Director-level BI function during the week. The AI Way runs on evenings and weekends. Everything I teach has been used by my own team in production first.
Why focus on analysts, not engineers?
Engineers have a thousand AI tutorials. Analysts have eight, most of them generic. The audience that has the most to gain from AI right now is working BI and data analysts, and almost nobody is teaching them.
How do I get in touch?
Email rwitapa@theaiway.in or DM me on LinkedIn. I read everything. I do not reply to everything, but the things worth replying to get a reply within the week.
